Sweet & Savory Japanese Style Pork Chops

Hey guys!

It’s so hot here in the UK today, not a good day to be cooped up in the kitchen!

Today I want to show you some pork chops I made into a quick and tasty meal.

I cooked up some Japanese rice and made a well in the middle which I filled liberally with home toasted sesame seeds.

I then added some grilled and seasoned pork chops on top.

The seasoning is made up of salt, mixed peppercorns, allspice amongst other things, so the taste is pleasantly zingy, lending a helping hand to the plain rice.

How do you feel about adding sweet elements into your savoury foods?

Should sweet tastes be left until dessert or are they welcomed at dinner time on your plate?
