Frozen steamed buns are actually really good, obviously it depends on the brand but they really aren’t one of those foods you should feel guilty about not preparing yourself.
Especially this variety, flavoured with Pandan which is very expensive and hard to buy here.
They are great little snacks and can be warmed up ready to eat in seconds.
Add the buns straight from the freezer to a microwaveable plate.
Wrap the plate loosely with microwave safe cling film.
Place in the microwave for 30 seconds and voilà!
These are to be eaten as soon as you cook them as their texture starts to harden right away like any steamed bun.
A great staple to have as a quick snack!
i wonder where you got the pandan, i have been looking for some here. your photos make me hungry! 🙂

I’m glad I’ve helped your appetite along!
Where abouts are you? I have seen some Pandan leaves online to England.

I found a place that should ship to you that sells the plant!
May be worth it if you have a green finger and your hubby really likes gulaman!
Apparently it smells really good too so no loss if you don’t use it for cooking!

There was also this, not sure if you or a friend or relative can get to any of these to check them out but it’s worth a try!
