Every once in a while it is a nice idea to go back to basics.
Often it is found that when you go back to even the most simple of tasks in life and cooking, you apply what you have learned elsewhere and improve in some way.
Even when creating a simple sandwich as opposed to a bento with many different ingredients.
I found some beautiful looking mushrooms I couldn’t resist from the local fruit and veg shop and washed and chopped the biggest, leaving them in massive half size pieces!
I grilled them with a splash of soy sauce!
A classic English sandwich for the early morning builder and the hungry appetite!
